For Sale Bucks 2023

We are super picky about who stays intact with our boys. I’ve wethered multiple buck kids whose dams were LA’d in the 90s and were great milkers.

We’ve always offered to buy back any of our boys—-another reason I’m so selective. Sadly, there are cases where these boys have come back in HORRIBLE condition. One of our first that came back died in my arms due to malnutrition issues, even though we’d worked tirelessly for weeks (he left here at 110# and returned weighing 70#).
The only reason I sell any of these boys is bc they’re related to everyone in my herd. And, bc we’re at the place of cutting way back with herd as well as having to bring in some new genetics for outcrossing, I’m putting up many of our bucks. Several have already been sold due to a wait list for the last few years).

Occasionally we will get an adult buck back—-generally due to the previous owner cutting back drastically or getting out of the business altogether. We are fortunate to have a big buck pasture, so it doesn’t bother me to let them all live here. If I put him back up for sale, its bc I think he’s worthy of bring the best in genetics.

Most of these boys are from our very BEST does with LA’s in the 90s & excellent dairy genetics. I know this might sound unyielding and hard-lined. I apologize bc that is truly NOT my heart. But realistically, their close relations (sibling, cousin, etc) are actively being proven in other herds. I't’s my obligation to those buyers to be even more selective where these bucks go. Therefore, I’m insisting they only go to high quality, performance homes.

Also please note---we have either retained sons, daughters, or sisters from these bucks who out of our best does---hopefully ensuring ongoing success to each buck up for sale.

Below are bucks who are out of General progeny. You may not be familiar with SG Rosasharn General +*B +*S, but he would be a leader as one who qualifies as a true Udder buck. We’ve been blessed to have several General daughters who have highly impacted our herd. Their udders are outstanding with superb lateral attachments & high/wide rear udders, and capacity. Emblem, Melee, & Virtue have filtered throughout most of our younger stock and we couldn’t be more pleased.

Passion’s Milk Test High: 6.8#, 305: 1360#, 83# BF, 58# Pr.

Either of these brothers are super nice. Both are very dairy, however Battle seems to be slightly more so and Roar might be more of a power buck.

Freedom’s Stand is a Dude son out of a General daughter whose dam is 1/2 sister to one of our super nice (SGCH Priesty EEEE91) older, now retired does.
Tim was super impressed with him in classification (which is rare bc both AGS ADGA are really hard on young stock). This is his first crop.

Dude is also a young sire with his daughters just now First Fresheners. But WOW, are they nice. (both Dude & Arrow’s FFs have been some of the nicest we’ve had—-rivaling Oliver’s FF girls). You can go to the FF page to see Silvie & Bunny. Both girls scored the highest score possible for FFs with Es for Mammary, Dairy, and GA. Bunny’s had 3 tests so far: 4.6#, 5.1#, 5.1# respectively. Her PE is already an 87 so she’s a pending SG. Unfortunately, about a week after Classification and a few days before Silive’s first test—out of the blue, she spiked a super high fever & was really sick. No one else in the herd became sick and the vets were mystified. We worked tirelessly 24/7 for about a month and its a total miracle that we didn’t lose her. Its taken us about 6 weeks to get her back to normal and start gaining weight. Thus, there are no milk scores for her this freshening.

Passion just finished her 3rd lactation, milking 1360# and her high for Milk Test is 7/1#. Her PE is 96%, earning ELITE status from ADGA. And as soon as they enter the LA scores (hers was VEEE90, AGS was 91.3Ex) she will qualify for SG Status. Passion is out of SG Virtue EEEE92, a General daughter, and tragically passed away while kidding. Passion is the litter sister to Dauntless who just scored EEE91, with Es in every category except one V (in feet).
