Welcome to Sinai Thunder, located just minutes south of Lexington, Kentucky---the famous Blue Grass Country. We've been blessed with a beautiful farm where we raise registered Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats. We participate in Linear Appraisal and DHIR Milk Testing. Thus, we strive to raise high-quality, friendly, healthy animals that will excel not only in milking or the show ring, but also will be a source of the Lord's joy for you and your family. The AGS Top 10's came out and we were beyond blessed:
Our homebred, SG Sinai Thunder AG Patience 2*M 2*DAR VEEV89 was Breed Leader in two categories!!!! She broke Red's record, setting a new one for Overall Score (121.73) and tied the #1 spot (6.8#) w Red for Production.
Another homebred, Sinai Thunder AG Glory 4*M 2*DAR, was Breed Leader for ButterFat (13..5%), and was 2nd for Overall Score.
SG Kaapio Acres HH Redemption *M *DAR VEEE90 made Breed Leader (again) for Production (6.8#) and broke her own record, placing 3rd for Overall Score (110.07).
Sinai Thunder AG Duchess Zakia 2*M 2*DAR (Red's daughter) placed 2nd in Protein. SG Little Tots Estate ST Tiqvah 2*M *DAR 91.3E was 2nd in Production w 6.3#, with Sinai Thunder Breath of Heaven 2*M 2*DAR 93.2E & Sinai Thunder O Tizrah 2*M 2*DAR tying for 3rd place, milking 6.2# as their highs.
Our Oliver's daughters are now First Fresheners---and have been nothing short of spectacular. We have six that are now on their 305 Milk Test. Their first test weights have ranged from 4#-6.2#. As mentioned above, Tizrah was 3rd for Production, also 4th for Overall Score, 10th for BF (8.9%). Currently (4/18) she is just shy of 950# and 180 days fresh.
The American Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Association (ANDDA) JuJu Awards:
Two of our does earned 3 coveted awards: GOLD (1250#+ in 1 lactation), Grand (900#+ for does over 6 yo), Lifetime (5000#+) SG Kaapio Acres HH Redemption *M *DAR VEEE90 & AR CapraKoza SG Guns n' Roses *M *DAR VEEE90
We had two does earn PLATINUM (milking 1250#+ and be a Finished Champion) as well as becoming Total Performer & Grand: SGCH Olson Acres Vdoo Priestess 2*M 2*DAR EEEE91 and GCH Wood Bridge Farm Peridot 3*M *DAR EEEE91
The remaining does on test we had: 13 GOLDS (1250# or 67.5#BF), 10 Silvers (1000# or 50#BF), & 6 Bronzes (750# or 37.5#BF)
