Rules are good and should be followed. However, on occasion, there are exceptions---as in this handsome buck---who was out of a First Freshener. We have always loved his dam (Tiqvah) as she represents the very best lines from Little Tots Estate. After her triplets were born, we were even more impressed. Then when she milked 4.9# on her very first Milk Test, we decided to alter our policy of wethering bucks from FF's. As her pedigree suggests, Tiqvah has been spectacular as a producer: milking over 1000# in each of her first two lactations, earning her a spot in the National Top 10, both in ADGA & AGS, and a GOLD in the ANDDA JuJu Awards. We were beyond thrilled when we found out she was awarded the Superior Genetics (SG) Award and then, the following year, she became ADGA ELITE Doe. Tiqvah also earned great scores on her LA & Classification (E91.3) with an Excellent for Shoulder Assembly, as well as Dairy Strength. Her sire LAd w an EEE91, and has produced multiple Finished CHs, LA scores of 90's---and a National Champion. Both Angus & Patrick have earned their "+" status as sires and their litter sister, Saphronia has earned her Superior Genetics & was LA'd EEEE92.
Angus's sire line represents the "who's-who" in the National Show Ring as well as Milking Awards. Valor's Dam is a a dual Finished Champion and her Dam line is simply superb. Rosasharn's finest fill out the rest of the sire's line. Valor's paternal half-sister just milked 5.7# on her Milk Test Day and Pegasus himself classified as a E90.5, as his sire and dam were both 91's, with their parentage in the 90's, a 93, and National Champion Does/Bucks throughout.
