When we were given the opportunity to bring Gladys back home, we jumped at the chance!!!! Although she is now a 2nd F, she was not put on milk test——so, you can’t begin to imagine how thrilled & blessed I am that her 1st test ever was a whopping 5.5#!!!! We did a 1Day Test (as well as her 305), with both ADGA & AGS, so as soon as ADGA gets the program developed for their new OS (cough, cough), she will officially be a 9*M as well as already officially a 9*D (AGS rocks!!!)
Gladys kidded twin does (Praise the Lord) with a super lovely udder. She has that gorgeous escutcheon that comes through her sire’s line. But has the teats, lateral attachments, & medial from Maple x Oliver’s lines. She is the epitome of a Power Doe, yet who is also VERY feminine!!!
As listed above, she scored an 89.6, with high praises from Tim. She had 90s in Style, Length of Bone, & Femininity (General Appearance). Her Dairy scores were 90-93’s, and Body Capacity were both 91’s (clearly obvious). Her Mammary scores also were also high—-with Tim’s final comment, “Her length of rump and body & Mammary System are great, but her head (thank you, Ggma’s) keep her from a 90.”
This gorgeous doe has a superior pedigree filled with the best in Show & dairy lines, and her dam’s milking accomplishments are outstanding. We are so very blessed and once time permits, I’ll post her pedigree.
