On occasion one makes really dumb decisions. That would be me when I sold Soul 2 years ago. Little did I realize that Tiz wanted to mainly have buck kids—-so when the opportunity came up to have Soul back home—-I was so very grateful. Now that we’ve established my overall IQ in herd selection, feel free to judge my ability to take a good pic of her. In both adult pix she’s not even close to being fully filled—-they are just candid shots of Soul standing in the barn. So obviously the photos don’t do her justice whatsoever. The middle pic below is her 2020 doeling (Winter Soulstice) and has tragically died. But you at least get an idea of the conformation this doe can pass on. (And a way to honor her as well as her breeder, the Gary family—Old Rugged Cross). The photo on the left is one of my favorites. Tiz with her two girls: Be Still My Heart (Southern Grace Nigerians) and Soul. I’m so very excited about this doe. Just wait til you see her clipped up. She will be bred for Fall of 2022. I can’t wait.
